Traffic Arrangements for the Public During the Running Event

Organization of the ALPHAMEGA RUN AS ONE Charity Race on 19/10/2025

The Alphamega Hypermarkets, in cooperation with local and other institutional bodies, are once again organizing the tenth consecutive charity running event, titled ALPHAMEGA RUN AS ONE.

The race will take place on Sunday, October 19, 2025, and will cover a distance of 21 km.

For better organization and the safety of the runners, traffic on affected roads will be closed to vehicles.

The following roads will be closed for the event: Georgiou Griva Digeni Avenue, from its junction with the Kolokasidis roundabout (the direction from 28th October Street towards the roundabout will remain open) up to its junction with Prodromou Avenue.

Agiou Prokopiou Street, from its junction with Griva Digeni Avenue towards the “Dias” complex roundabout.

Archangelou Michail Avenue, from the roundabout up to its junction with Lefkotheou Street.

The traffic lane on Nikos Kranidiotis Avenue, between the roundabout near the Land Registry and Georgiou Griva Digeni Avenue, will also be closed.

Traffic arrangements for the public during the event

Road closure times and affected areas:

  • Agiou Prokopiou – Archangelou Michail: 06:30 – 10:00
  • Griva Digeni: 06:30 – 13:00

  1. To and from Archangelou Michail and Agios Dometios, vehicles should use Lefkotheou, Ilias Papakyriakou, 28th October, Griva Digeni, Kyriakou Matsi.

  1. To and from Engomi Industrial Area and Agios Dometios center towards Archangelou Michail, vehicles can use either: 25th March, Kyriakou Matsi, Griva Digeni, 28th October, Ilias Papakyriakou, Lefkotheou, or 25th March, Kyriakou Matsi, Prigkipos Karolou, Delfon, Metochiou, Sina, Prodromou.

The organization urges the public to remain cautious, cooperate, and follow the instructions of the police who will be present at all affected areas.
